The President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Nigeria (MBAN) recently presented an award to ASO Savings & Loans PLC The award was received by ASO's MD/CEO Hassan Usman in recognition and appreciation of ASO's laudable support and worthy contribution to the success of MBAN's 9th PMI CEOs' retreat 2009 as platinum sponsor.
The Award was presented at the MBAN 9th PMI CEOs Annual Retreat/International Finance Corporation (IFC) collaborative workshop held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja on November 22, 2009.

ASO Savings & Loans PLC grows earnings by 43% 15 November, 2009

ASO Savings & Loans PLC has grown its gross earnings by 43%, notwithstanding the impact of the economic meltdown on the financial industry.
The Primary Mortgage Institution (PMI) declared for the 2009 financial year gross earnings of 10billion, which is an increase by 43% compared to the N7billion it garnered in the previous year.
The shareholders, at the company's annual general meeting (AGM) in Abuja recently commended the Board and Management of the Bank for the performance, especially for achieving the result in a year many financial institutions are witnessing drop in sales revenue.

ASO Savings & Loans PLC as part of it's Corporate Social Responsibility, recently carried out its Back to School Drive at the LEA Primary School Area 1 Abuja. The exercise involved the donation of school packs to each pupil inclusive of Notebooks books, mathematical sets, Rulers, Pencils, Biros, Dictionaries, erasers and Coloured Pencils to each pupil.
